Look at the Baobab trees, Little Prince!

When i was a little girl, i used to read this book over and over… I would cry at the end because it wasn´t the usual happy ending but that was ok because every time i opened that book i would start a journey with The Little Prince, and like him i learned about life and the simple things that we forget when we grow up.

Things like this:

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye”

“You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.”

“That is the hardest thing of all. It is much harder to judge yourself that to judge others. If you suceed in judging yourself, it´s because you´re truly a wise man.”

“Language is the source of misunderstandings.”

The Little Prince By Antoine De Saint Exupery is children´s book and it will be always one of my favourites books in the world. A little boy coming to earth from the smallest planet learns about love and returns to his home to be with his rose, a unique flower for him because he took care of her ( in the book the flower behaves like a person); it is the most lovely story i´ve ever read, so simple but for me full of wisdom, that wisdom only childs have when they are discovering the world around them like Little Princes and Princesses.

Anyway, in the book The Little Prince had to pull out baobab trees from the ground because his planet was too small and the trees would destroy it so when i found this picture today, i try to imagine the expression on the the little prince face if he ever saw baobab trees like this…..
